IT Connectivity Project

Elementary Schools

MLA and the Network Support Group were requested to assist the District in designing and securing funding through the E-rate Program to bring upgraded technology to all 13 Elementary Schools. Funding was established based on free and reduced lunches provided to students at that school. The scope of work for each of the projects ranged from providing hardwired data to each classroom, wireless internet access to each classroom, VOIP for phone, data, clocks, and Public Address system, Pole vault ceiling mounted projectors and teaching stations in all classrooms, and upgraded power and IDF rooms. The VOIP would tie into a district wide system that will eventually tie in all elementary schools and high schools together.
